The wine was drawn off the lees and then aged for twenty four months in small oak barrels. After a first racking, the must was transferred to temperature-controlled fermentation vats Abv 13,5° Total acidity 5,2‰ Tasting notes Straw yellow with greenish highlights; the elegant, very aromatic nose is reminiscent of yellow pepper, melon, sage and peach; the refined, velvet-smooth palate is satisfyingly full-bodied Food matches A good partner for ham starters and fish dishes, especially with sauces Production 29000 bottles

After a first racking, the must was transferred into 225-litre barrels for twelve months before being blended in stainless steel vats and aged in bottle for twelve months. Abv 14,8° Total acidity 5,0 ‰ Tasting notes Yellow with faint golden tinges and greenish highlights; intense nose of well-integrated ripe apple, vanilla and citrus; complex and confident on the palate, with excellent balance Food matches A fine accompaniment for flavour-rich fish or meat-based rice and pasta dishes

		Merlot Centis - Rocca Bernarda Red Wine Friuli Venezia Giulia   Classificazione: Merlot D.O.C. Colli Orientali del Friuli Uva: Merlot Vinificazione: Dai vigneti più antichi che attorniano la Rocca Bernarda le uve Merlot vengono raccolte a mano e selezionate verso la metà di ottobre. Dopo una pigiadiraspatura soffice ha inizio la macerazione e la fermentazione alcolica in tini termocondizionati. In questa fase si eseguono continue follature e rimontaggi per avere una migliore estrazione di tannini e di colore. Il vino nuovo viene poi messo a maturare per 15 mesi circa in barriques di rovere nuove e di un anno. L'affinamento continua per qualche mese in bottiglia acquistando il suo migliore equilibrio Note Degustative: E' un vino dal colore rosso rubino intenso con sfumature rosso-granate quando invecchia. Il profumo ricorda la marasca e i piccoli frutti con lievi sentori di caffè e cioccolato. Il gusto è decisamente complesso, cremoso ed equilibrato Accostamenti Gastronomici: Va abbinato a secondi piatti di carni rosse e salvaggina anche piuttosto saporiti ed è compagno fedele nel fine pasto Temperatura di Servizio: 18°C circa
